I had really bad dental anxiety due to my past experience with a different dentist. It caused me to not see a dentist for years and I’ve been in tons of pain. The assistant and dentist didn’t shame me. They didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or badly about myself. Instead they made me feel hopeful to get on track and up to date on my dental work. Even though it was a lot of work they created me a treatment plan and were beyond nice about things. I am 7 months pregnant and was honestly just planning to get everything serious extracted before my son gets here. The assistant told me it wasn’t as bad as I thought and was prepared to fight for me and saving my teeth as much as possible as I’m only 24. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I can’t say enough about Bright Smiles And Dr Visser! Painless, I now enjoy going to the dentist, and how he fix problems and how they work with my insurance! They are all friendly and caring here! And the best dentist I have ever had! I love the new office but they still keep that friendly atmosphere. I have been going here for about 5 years now and so thankful for this painless, great work. Thank you so much ! This is the best dentist, He really cares ! Great office with even better people! I'd have to say that I have never felt more comfortable at a dental office. The staff is great and Dr. Visser is very knowledgable and I feel he has my best interest at heart. The hygienists Kristen, Aly, Monica and Jody are all very good and provide pain free cleanings. I am so happy that each one of them can provide quality care and I feel confident in each of their work. Kelli, Michelle, and Lainy are always so cheerful and positive they welcome you with a smile and are so knowledgable about insurance. The assistants Bailey, Aubrey and Pam are always so nice and help put you at ease while having work done. This office makes you feel like part of the family. The only thing I wonder is what awesome man was lucky enough to marry Kelli? ~ Nicholas W

Bright Smiles is hands down amazing! We recently went to a different dentist office here in Tooele that specializes in children before coming here, and they missed SEVERAL major issues with my children’s teeth. We were not happy with their customer service, treatment plan, or exorbitant cost. I wanted a second opinion and brought my kids here and not only do they treat emergencies as such, they have been so amazing with my kids! My kids also have had such a fear of the dentist and that honestly has completely diminished now. All of my children’s teeth are 100% and that’s in thanks to Bright Smile! We won’t be going anywhere else now! You can’t go wrong here; they have wonderful doctors, staff, take your dental health as a priority, and are very reasonable in cost! I have always had the best experiences at Bright Smiles. For a very long time I have had high anxiety at the dentist and here they are very cognizant of that and do everything to make sure that I am comfortable. Aubrey is one of my favorites. She is always so friendly and makes sure that I am 100% comfortable before starting any work. Just recently at 8:00 pm on New Year’s Eve I popped off a temporary crown exposing nerves and causing a lot of pain. I contacted the office in hopes that someone could come in the next morning to help me. Within 30 minutes Bailey was able to meet me at the office and had me all fixed up in less than 10 minutes, and she did it with a smile. Despite the fact that it was New Year’s Eve and she was with her family. This kind of dedication and customer service is unmatched and I will never go anywhere else! ~ Casey C

I have been going to Dr. Hans Smith for years and each time I go it gets better and better. what a great and wonderful staff, they make you feel like family. Dr. Smith is very gentle despite his large hands, you don't notice the size of them at all, its as if they shrink in your mouth. I recommend Dr. "Hands" Smith to all my friends and family. The staff all have caring and sensitive eyeballs, I'm sure the rest of their face is just as nice but I wouldn't know on account of the face masks. Dr. Smith and his staff always make sure you are comfortable and give you the remote for the T.V. The gas is great!!! So the long and short of it is go see the large hand but gentle dentist Dr. Smith, you will not regret it. Loyal and grateful ~ Ronny C

They accept Medicaid and are taking new patients. We had to wait 2 months for a NEW PATIENT apt. However they are most definitely worth it. The staff is so sweet and very good at what they do. They are on point and on TIME with how busy they are the fact that they had us in the chair, teeth cleaned, x-rays complete and the dentist in the room ready to exam my daughter at 9:20 am when our appointment was at 9 am is remarkable now days. The ladies at the front desk had answers for every question I had from will her insurance cover braces to what is the price for any filling should she need any. THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME FAITH IN THE PRACTICE OF DENTISTRY ONCE AGAIN! WILL RECOMMEND TO ANY AND EVERYONE I KNOW! ~ Kandi N

I have not had my teeth cleaned since HIGH SCHOOL and I am going to be 43 next month!!!! I had to get a deep clean and WAS DEATHLY AFRAID! I was sick all day thinking about my appointment. You guys! Once I stepped foot in the office Lainey reassured me they would take good care of me. She was right! Aly the Hygienist took me back and told me it would be ok. I was crying sooooo..... But, they gave me the gas, put on Netflix and cleaned my teeth. IT WAS NOT BAD AT ALL!!! I PROMISE!!! I have another appointment in November for the other half of my mouth and I am not even scared!!!!! Also, the cost did not break the bank. I cried tears of gratitude when I left. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!!!! ~ Bethany P

Love this place even more sense they moved locations. Also the staff is very caring and friendly even if you show up a week earlier than your appointment. 🤣😂😂🤣😅 and before you ask, yes I did this!! I loved they laughed politly. The dentists also are very caring they listen and also do a very amazing job. Making sure whatever issue you have is addressed. I will recommend this place do to the quality of care. I won't lie appointments are out more than I like due to the small town tooele has blown up to ×5 then even 6 years ago. So that is really the only complaint I have. But that's something beyond their control. They did bring In more staff. I absolutely love the new staff. ~ Jeni H

HE IS A GREAT DENTIST. HE ALWAYS REMEMBERS EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU AND IS VERY PERSONABLE. HE FITS YOU IN IF YOU NEED HIM AND CAN NOT WAIT. HE GIVES YOU CHOICES AND THAT HELPS WITH MY BUDGET. They were very patient and kid friendly as I had 5 grandchildren that were seen at the same time. Ages ranged from 2-16 years old. They provided a very kind, friendly, and professional environment. They provided a treatment plan in detail explaining the number of visits it would take to complete the work that they needed done. The co- pay amount was also listed along with the actual cost of the procedure. Im from the old school and I really appreciated being able to see on paper in detail what lay ahead. This makes it so nice because you can plan and know what is going to happen and what your responsibilties are. Thank you for your excellent service. ~ Mary E

Great visit to the dentist today. My kids thought they were too old for the pediatric dentist. This was their first visit to a family dentist. The staff at Bright Smiles was friendly and accommodating. They practiced appropriate COVID-19 precautions. My 15-year-old daughter said, “This is the first time I’ve been to a dentist that didn’t make me feel guilty for having tartar.” Dr. Visser explained that some people have different levels of electrolytes in their saliva that can lead to more or less normal tartar buildup between visits. He also had some great advise for future or the orthodontic work. My son enjoyed watching Netflix while his teeth were cleaned. Thanks, Bright Smiles! ~ Amy R

My appointment last week went very well for my cleaning. My teeth feel and look so much cleaner and whiter after a cleaning. The gals at the front desk do a great job of welcoming you and calling the insurance company making sure things are paid for, etc. when I first started at bright smiles, I had quite a few issues with my teeth, such as fillings and I needed a couple of crowns. I have always had great service, everybody is so friendly and have always answered all of my questions. I am so happy with all of you guys! I'm really happy last week after my cleaning I do not need to come back until my next check up in 6 months! ~ Patsy L

The doctor, technicians and staff are amazing! I'm smiling today like I haven't been able to in years. I'm a congestive heart failure patient. I also have ulcerative colitis which is a autoimmune disease. My immune system was what was causing my teeth damage With doctor Vissers help, I was able to have my existing teeth removed and implants put in. Regular dentures were not an option because of the swelling caused by the autoimmune condition. Since the implants were put in about a year ago my heart function has improved as a result of getting my damaged and infected teeth out. Thanks for everything you have done for me! ~ Greg G

I just moved to the area and I needed a new dentist and I am so happy I found Bright Smiles Dental! In the past I have had some not so great experiences with the dentist, so now I get extremely nervous when I go in. However, the staff at Bright Smiles Dental is absolutely amazing and they definitely calm my nerves when I come in! Today I went in to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. The assistant and Dr. Ho made sure I was calm and did the extractions super fast and easy! It was over before I knew it and they talked me through the whole process! I HIGHLY recommend bright smiles. They are amazing. I had horrible tooth pain, I couldn’t even sleep at night and cried because of the pain. But Dr. Kim was so kind and understanding he took the time to stay after closing just to help fix the problem. He did an wonderful job and saved me a lot of misery. I want to shoutout to Fran also!! She stayed after closing to help too, and I really appreciate all they have done for me. I will continue to use bright smiles as my primary dentist from now on. Very amazing Dr and staff. Bright Smiles employees and doctor are the best! The staffs are always upbeat and friendly. They greet you with a smile and make you feel like family, as if you known them for a while. I had a procedure done today, which I was dramatic about it all week, just thinking about the work that is going to be done. Well, the staff made my assumptions ridiculous. They made me feel as much comfortable as I could be and the procedure took less than 10 minutes! Thank you Dr. Visser and your WONDERFUL staff for allowing my family to be part of your family!! What can I say about the staff at Bright smiles Elaine was super helpful and friendly and making checking in and out go smoothly that’s supper helpful with little kids! then we have Julie who was amazing with my little one who had 2 fillings to do. When your 5 the dentist is a little scary and she helped her get relaxed and towards the end she started getting a little scared and Julie let her hold her hand. Not to be forgotten Dr Ho was amazing to! She went as fast as she could and trying to distract her from the noise of the drill. Thank you for helping her not feel so scared. ~ Amanda B

We moved to Tooele about 2 years ago now and we where trying to find a good dentist. I liked the one we had in salt lake but I didn't want to keep driving there for each kids appt. So I looked in Tooele and found bright smiles dental and decided to try it out. I'm glad I did they are awesome with my kids they are all very nice and the office always looks clean and smells good too. I know my kids are in good hands with the dentist he's honest and very nice. And will tell my kids if they aren't doing good in brushing there teeth. The ladies in the front are so funny and awesome to talk too. ~ Jennifer S

I am so impressed with the dentist, the staff and the work that they do! Everyone is very caring, remembers what is going on in my life and asks me about it. The dentist is nearly a perfectionist. He tries to make my dentures so much better than my last dentist. He is making sure that they fill my face in just right and checks that my lips will come out at the correct angle, and seems them back until they're perfect. Dr. Smith stands behind his work. He is diligent to complete his services with high quality work. It is important to Dr. Smith to serve the individual needs and wants of each patient. Valuing each patient, he takes the time to understand what they desire. He offers different options and explains why each choice would be best for the dental situation. Extraordinary nice, kind, and super accommodating staff. Never felt more comfortable at the dentist office than I did here. Even with my previous dentist that I had been seeing for years, I never felt heard or understood with my medical conditions and concerns. You would be surprised how many dentists don't understand TN and the anxiety caused at just the thought of the pain that happens with it. It's traumatizing. Dentists stress me out but I was very heard, validated, and put at ease. I'll be going back. Good people. ~ Imablank
